About Us
Tradeworks Training Society has assumed the responsibility for project at the Tradeworks FabShop, and re-launched the program in September 2010, branding it the Tradeworks FabShop.
Previously, the RONA - Vancouver 2010 FabShop was a project initiated by VANOC in the two years running up to the winter games, which produced over 11,000 wooden items, everything from ski racks to podiums for the 2010 Winter Games.

Tradeworks FabShop is now a social enterprise that is comprised of two components.
First, we provide at-risk youth, who have not been able to find and keep jobs, the opportunity they need to move into the workforce. The Tradeworks FabShop training program provides a basic introduction to carpentry and manufacturing that is integrated into the workplace setting and cultivates a variety of skills needed in the workplace in order to succeed.
Secondly, we are a manufacturer (and provider of related services) - manufacturing a wide array of quality wood products and offer carpentry and/or renovation services. The shop has produced an array of ramps, stairs, tables, desks, sheds, racks, cabinets and similar goods for the 2010 Games.
